PEC Pipeline Basic Orientation
PEC Safety, in conjunction with Veriforce, created PEC Basic Pipeline Orientation Course, an orientation which is not only required by Mid-Stream operators like Kinder Morgan, but can also help increase safety awareness and compliance for all pipeline contractors. This course is customized for workers in the Midstream/Pipeline segment of the Oil & Gas Industry.

Basic Pipeline Course Objectives
Upon completion of PEC Pipeline Basic Orientation, the student will have general knowledge of Pipeline history, regulatory standards , OSHA, DOT, FERC, DHS, PHMSA and Safety Concerns when working on or around pipelines.

Do I Need to Renew My Basic Pipeline Certification?
Yes, it’s suggested that certified workers take an annual refresher. The PEC Basic Pipeline course refresher should be easier for those who have taken the full certification and are familiar with it.
No Hands-On Training is required, and there is no prerequisite courses for PEC Basic Pipeline.
